Why Jota's Spa victory was good for WEC

Jota was the first privateer to take outright victory in the Hypercar class at the 6 Hours of Spa

The World Endurance championship hit a new milestone at the 6 Hours of Spa.

At the end of an eventful 6 hours at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Jota crossed the line first to take its first WEC victory and in the process it also became the first privateer to win the Hypercar class.

It was a huge milestone for the championship, especially since it’s been achieved just a few years into the existence of the current hypercar regulations, and it showcases just how even the playing field really is in the World Endurance championship right now.

And in our latest video, we examine why it's a good thing for both teams and the championship itself
